The Stage is Set: Magnifying God in the Mistrial

Mar 8, 2026    Pastor Ericka Lee

In a courtroom, a mistrial occurs when a case is halted before its conclusion because the process has been compromised. The trial of Jesus is widely cited by legal and biblical scholars as a mistrial—marked by illegal proceedings, improper timing, improper location, and the absence of a proper defense.

Life can sometimes feel the same way. Loss, disappointment, and hardship can make it seem like the process has been unfair. Yet it is often in these very moments that our faith becomes most visible.

In this message from the Amplified series, we explore how trials become opportunities to magnify God. When we remain steadfast, our faith is strengthened, God’s peace guards our hearts, and our lives become a witness that points others to Him.
