Baptism Sunday | Going Public | #ImWithHim
What does it mean to go public with your faith?
In this powerful baptism message, we explore what it means to boldly identify with Jesus—not privately, but publicly. Just as businesses go public and couples announce their commitment, baptism is the visible declaration that we belong to Christ.
Baptism is more than a moment. It is a spiritual symbol and an act of obedience that represents our union with Jesus in His death, burial, and resurrection. When we go under the water, we identify with His death. When we rise, we declare new life in Him.
Scripture reminds us:
Romans 6:3–4 — We are buried with Christ through baptism and raised to live a new life.
1 Peter 3:21 — Baptism is a pledge of a good conscience toward God through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Acts 2:41 — Those who accepted the message were baptized and added to the body of believers.
In this service, we celebrate lives saying, “I’m with Him.”
Baptism is:
A symbol of identification with Christ
A public declaration of faith
An act of obedience flowing from salvatio
