How beautifully you were made; your form was crafted with the finest artistry. In Ezekiel 28:12-13, it is written, ‘You were the seal of perfection, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of God; every precious stone adorned you.’ Your very essence shimmered like jewels, a testament to divine creation.

Yet here lies the paradox: the heart that beats within you is tainted. For while your appearance dazzles—the brilliance of gold and the shine of precious stones—your spirit echoes a different tale. In Isaiah 14:13-14, you proclaimed your intentions: ‘I will ascend to the heavens; I will raise my throne above the stars of God… I will make myself like the Most High.’

Your ambition, once a flicker of light, became a consuming fire. You sought not just to be beautiful but to be worshipped. You were not content with the glory given—you desired it all. This insatiable hunger led you to betrayal, to a fall from grace.

Now, as you wander the realms, your brilliance is overshadowed by the darkness of your heart. You are a reminder that beauty, when intertwined with pride and ambition, can lead to ruin. You wear your splendor like a mask, concealing the corruption that festers beneath.

In Revelation 12:9, it is said, ‘The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray.’ You, once the epitome of perfection, now embody the very essence of deceit. Your allure is a trap, a siren’s call to those who are drawn in by the glitter of what you once were.

So let this serve as a lesson to those who gaze upon your beauty: do not be fooled by appearances. For in you, Lucifer, lies a heart that has turned from the light, a heart that has chosen its own path over divine purpose. Remember, it is not the outward beauty that defines us but the purity of our hearts and the intentions of our souls.”*

This reflection on Lucifer captures the complex interplay of beauty and moral decay, reminding us that true worth lies not in how we appear to others but in the integrity of our hearts. Live your life knowing that though your heart is tucked away, God sees it, he knows it, and he hears it.

In Mark 3:11, John Mark stated that those possessed by evil spirits would throw themselves to the ground in front of Jesus whenever they saw him, shrieking, "You are the son of God!" In Luke 4:33-34, Luke describes a man in the synagogue who was possessed by a demon. The man cried out, "Go away! What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are — You are the Holy One!"
My question to you today is, do demonic spirits recognize you as someone who is holy? Do they perceive you as someone who is fully devoted to God, or do they see you as a person who compromises their beliefs?
If we are to be like Jesus and claim to have his Spirit, then when demonic spirits are near us, they should bow to the Holy Spirit within us. If they do not bow to the Holy Spirit that is supposed to reside in us, or if they feel comfortable in our presence, then it is time to evaluate the Spirit dwelling within us. There may be residual or foreign spirits within us that demonic entities identify with, or we may not be allowing the Holy Spirit to fully reside in us.
Demonic spirits need a body to survive, but does it have to be ours? James 4:7 tells us that if we resist the devil, he will flee. However, the question remains: how much are we really resisting? Do we give in to the enemy's plans for our lives, or do we follow God's intended purpose and plan? Conducting a thorough assessment of our spiritual state will help answer these questions.

Conducting a thorough assessment of our spiritual state will help answer these questions. It is essential to examine our thoughts, actions, and the influences we allow into our lives. Are we nurturing habits that align with God's teachings, or are we opening doors to negative influences?
The process of self-examination involves prayer, meditation on the Word, and seeking guidance from the Holy Spirit. We must ask ourselves if our lives reflect the fruit of the Spirit as outlined in Galatians 5:22-23 — love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. These attributes serve as indicators of the Holy Spirit's presence within us.

In addition to self-examination, we should also seek accountability from fellow believers. Proverbs 27:17 states, "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." Surrounding ourselves with a community of faith provides support, encouragement, and correction when needed.
When we identify areas of weakness or sin, we must not be discouraged. Instead, we should repent and seek God's forgiveness. 1 John 1:9 assures us that "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
As we grow in our relationship with God, we will become more attuned to His Spirit and more resistant to the enemy's schemes. By continually seeking to be filled with the Holy Spirit, we can ensure that demonic spirits will find no place of comfort within us. Through vigilance, prayer, and a commitment to spiritual growth, we can walk confidently in the authority given to us by Christ, ensuring that our lives truly reflect His presence.
Pastor K. In the fourth and fifth chapters of Nehemiah, we witness the relentless attempts of Sanballat, accompanied by his companions and Samaritan troops, to undermine and ridicule the Jews who had taken up the task of rebuilding the wall. Sanballat's fury knew no bounds upon learning of the Jews' determination to reconstruct the wall. He openly mocked their efforts, questioning their abilities and scoffing at their ambitious goals. "What do these miserable Jews think they are doing?" he exclaimed. "Do they truly believe they can rebuild the city? Can they fashion building stones out of piles of burnt rubble? Even a fox could knock down their feeble attempts!" Tobiah, standing alongside Sanballat, echoed his sentiments, further deriding the Jews and their seemingly futile endeavor.

Despite the constant barrage of criticism and ridicule, Nehemiah and his fellow workers remained undeterred. As the enemies realized that their efforts to impede the progress of God's work were in vain, they devised a plan to physically attack Nehemiah and his team. However, Nehemiah was vigilant and aware of their schemes. He knew that although his enemies believed they were hidden from his sight, God had placed Jews among them as informants. Nehemiah wisely divided his workforce, assigning half to continue the construction while the other half stood guard, armed with tools and weapons. Undeterred by the ongoing opposition, Nehemiah and his team pressed on, with their unwavering determination serving as a testament to their faith in the divine purpose they were fulfilling.

Sanballat, Tobiah, Geshem, and the other adversaries, realizing that their attempts to halt the construction were futile, sought to engage Nehemiah in a deceptive meeting. Repeatedly, they sent messages urging Nehemiah to meet them in one of the villages. Recognizing their ill intent, Nehemiah saw through their ruse and declined their invitations, stating firmly, "I am engaged in an important work that cannot be interrupted. I will not allow it to be hindered by unnecessary distractions." In light of Nehemiah's resolute stance, we can draw valuable lessons for our own lives.

To those who find themselves besieged by distractions, it is crucial to remember that yielding our energy to distractors is a fruitless endeavor. They are unworthy of our attention and should not be allowed to impede the work that God has entrusted us with. It is important to understand that even individuals who may not be fond of one another will unite against a common target if they harbor jealousy towards them. In such instances, we ought to mirror Nehemiah's authority and make it clear that these distractors hold no significance in comparison to the purpose and assignment bestowed upon us by God.

To the distractors themselves, it is imperative to recognize that God hears every conversation and witnesses every act of ridicule directed towards His work and the individuals He has chosen to carry it out. I implore you to repent and renounce any spiteful or jealous words that may have been spoken. Often, initial criticism stems from a lack of vision to perceive the ultimate outcome. Just as David proclaimed, God is capable of preparing a table and a feast in the presence of our enemies. He knows the end even before the beginning, and He equips us for the journey ahead.

To those who find themselves in Nehemiah's position, I urge you to stand firm on the wall and not descend. While perfection may elude us, it is crucial to remain steadfast. Though our words may lack eloquence, we must not compromise our dignity. Even if we find ourselves at the beginning of our journey, let us remember that it is ultimately how we finish that matters. My own pastoral journey did not commence with excellence, but I am grateful that God has guided me in His ways, rather than conforming to the ways of man or denomination. We are engaged in the work of the kingdom and must not waver or stray from the wall. Let us remain resolute and unwavering in our pursuit of God's purpose.

In the end, God allowed heartbreak to save your life. As your pastor, I want you to see life's dilemmas through the sovereignty of God's grace to heal and save you. Life can often present us with challenges and difficulties that we never anticipated. These moments of hurt and heartbreak can feel overwhelming and leave us questioning why they are happening to us. However, it is important to remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His plans are beyond our understanding. In His infinite wisdom and love, God allows us to experience heartbreak and pain for a purpose. Sometimes, it is through these trials that we are able to grow, learn, and ultimately be saved from greater harm. It may not always be easy to see in the midst of our suffering, but God is working behind the scenes, orchestrating a greater plan for our lives. When we face heartbreak, it is an opportunity for us to seek God's grace and healing. In our brokenness, we can find solace in knowing that God is with us, offering comfort and restoration. He is the ultimate healer of our hearts, and through His grace, we can find strength and renewal. As your pastor, my desire is for you to see beyond the pain and trust in God's sovereignty. He is not the author of our heartbreak, but He can use it to shape us and draw us closer to Him. In those moments of darkness, remember that God's grace is sufficient to carry you through. Allow His love to mend your brokenness and guide you towards a life filled with purpose and hope. May you find peace in knowing that God's grace is always present, even in the midst of unexpected hurt. Trust in His plan, lean on His strength, and allow His healing grace to transform your life. Remember, in the end, God's love and grace will prevail, and you will emerge stronger and more resilient than ever before."

- Pastor K. You guys are truly incredible, and I want you to know that your sacrifices and dedication have not gone unnoticed by our loving God. He hears your prayers and promises to honor your requests. If you keep working hard and remaining faithful to Him and to our beloved Echo Community Church, He will surely bless the work of your hands and bring prosperity into your lives.

I want to encourage you to start speaking positivity into every aspect of your life. The book of Proverbs reminds us that wise words bring about good things, while those who speak deceitfully find themselves in trouble. So, let's be mindful of the power of our words. Even in the smallest moments, remember that someone is always listening. Choose to speak life, joy, victory, and wisdom into every situation you encounter.

I want you to know that I love you all dearly, and I am confident that you have what it takes to overcome any challenge that comes your way. Those storms you're facing? They're not here to destroy you; they're here to introduce you to a stronger, more resilient version of yourself. Remember, nobody truly knows who you are until they witness you weathering the storms of life. And while storms may cause some chaos, they also bring about the opportunity for new beginnings.

I am filled with excitement because I can sense that God is up to something incredible, and guess what? We are right in the middle of it! As I envision your future, I see a version of you that is even more amazing than you are now.

May God's blessings and prosperity continue to pour down upon you in the name of Jesus. You are loved and cherished by your Echo Community Church family.

With warm regards,
Pastor K. Lee
L
